CERAMIC TILE is a clay-bodied tile that usually is glazed and kiln fired to give it durability and easy maintanance. PORCELAIN TILE is a vitreous tile that is made with less clay and more feldspar than Ceramic Tile. It is fired at high temperatures that give it more durability and a very low absorption rate. PORCELAIN TILE can be glazed or unglazed. Un-glazed, thru-body PORCELAIN TILE can be used in exterior applications where freezing temperatures are of concern. PORCELAIN TILE is often made with deep texturing and colorations that mimic Natural Stone. It also can be polished to a mirror-like shine. Both CERAMIC TILE & PORCELAIN TILE are available in a variety of sizes and price ranges.
The WOOD FLOORS that we Sell & Install are all Pre-finished, ready to use. There is no need for staining or finishing. Most of the finishes on these products contain Aluminum Oxide, a very hard and even wear layer. WOOD FLOORS can be Solid (3/4' thick), or Engineered (5/16' to 1/2' thick). Engineered floors are made up of alternating layers of a secondary wood that give it dimensional stability, and the wear layer that gives the floor its beauty. Engineered WOOD FLOORS can be installed on, below, or above grade, and can be installed on concrete. WOOD FLOORS are available in many different species from Oak, to the Exotics, such as Brazilian Cherry. They are also available in finishes that range from formal, to rustic Hand-Scraped.
CORK FLOORS, like Wood Floors come from Renewable Resources. Most of the Cork used for floors comes from Portugal and is actually the bark of the Cork Tree. CORK FLOORS are usually installed by using the 'floating floor' method, however CORK FLOORS also come in glue-down tiles. CORK FLOORS are quiet to walk on, and maintain a more even temperature than other floors. Colors range from natural to stained, light to dark.
GLASS TILE is one of the Most Versatile products on the market today! It can be used as Accents & Feature Strips, to entire Walls and in some cases, Floors. It can be used on Backsplashes, in Showers, and in Swimming Pools. GLASS TILE comes in a wide range of colors, textures, and sizes. GLASS TILE can be solid, translucent, metallic, & marbelized. We even have some that GLOW IN THE DARK! We believe that GLASS TILE can be incorporated into any Design Scheme.
GLASS TILE does require different Installation Techniques and Mortars than other types of tile.

CARPET usually comes in widths from 12 foot to 15 feet wide. Carpet is Warm, Soft, and Quiet. It will last for many years when properly maintained.
